Behind the Scenes: Work + YouTube Questions

This one turned into a bit of a longer coffee chat.

I sat down and answered a few questions that have come up lately—about how I edit my videos, what platform I use for The Table, and what my days actually look like when I’m not filming.

What I Talked About

My Editing Process (Start to Finish)

I walked through how I approach editing my videos—from organizing footage, to shaping the story, to knowing when it’s “done enough.” It’s not overly complicated, but it is thoughtful. A lot of it comes down to feel and pacing more than anything technical.

The Platform I Use for The Table

I shared why I chose Ghost.org for this space instead of Patreon or YouTube memberships. For me, it came down to simplicity and creating something that feels a little more like a quiet corner of the internet rather than another busy platform with ads on it.

What My Days Look Like When I’m Not Filming

This was probably the most “behind the scenes” part. The in-between moments. The slower parts and busier parts. The work that doesn’t always get seen—but is still very much part of this life and business.

Stories and monthly letters for those craving a calm slower life.
